Erased negative space

This time I try to use eraser to create the negative space drawing rather than use the lines to clarify the edges. This technique can also create shade and shadow in this sketch. I decided to choose a plant to be my model. The texture of the plant is really interesting, and I have a lot of fun to do this sketch. Even though I did not do the really good work, I still want to do it again and improve my skills. 

Chair negative space

In this sketch, I want to draw a chair which is in a negative space. At first, I did some research from a magazine in order to find chair which has interesting outline and back. I think that it is much harder to draw a chair based on the negative space. I need to observe the outline of the chair carefully imagine the negative space which is surrounding the chair. 

Black paper

I try to draw on the black paper and use the color pencils. I think that it is my first time to sketch on the black paper and draw small architectural element. I decided to focus on the detail of door knob and use abundant color to describe the texture and shape of the object. I also create the illusion of depth in order to pursue the visual effect. 

Interior corner

I choose the interesting corner in my apartment, and I try to use any technique which I have learned to draw this sketch. I think that the most difficult part in this sketch is how to maintain the equal view and how to draw the real view that we saw. I want to show the walls, ceiling, and floor in same time, and present the shade and shadow in this space. 

Resume

I try to write a resume which can effectively tell my background information. In addition, I also provide my brief statement of career objective, working experience and extra activities. I think that my resume must be clear and simple, and I do not need unnecessary information to influence the reader. Moreover, it is really important to choose appropriate font size and follow the principle of alignment. I think that a good resume can impress the reader and help us to get the job. I also feel that I need to have more working experience in interior design in order to meet their needs.

Logo Design

I try to design a logo which can present my personal concept and idea. This is my use time to use Illustrator to create a logo. I think that it is really difficult for me to learn a new software in a short time. I try my best to use new technique to design a logo and practice how to use the Wacom tablet. I hope that I can use the digital pen smoothly and develop the basic skills of digital drawing. HCJ is the initials of my name. I try to use different brushes to create visual effect. I think  that I should add the design principles and graphic elements in my design. In addition, my logo must be clear and highly attractive in order to show my design philosophy.

Final Pattern

It is my first time to create geometric pattern using Photoshop. I tried to combine different geometric pattern blocks together and attempt to show visual texture and value in my work. The geometric pattern which I made is really colorful and bright. In addition, the high contrast colors create special visual impact and display two-dimensional design.
